FAC Fizzica presents an advanced audio processing solution that infuses sound with dynamic digital textures and artifacts, enhancing the creative potential for sound designers.

As an extension of FAC Punchlab's Fizz module, FAC Fizzica preserves the intuitive user interface while introducing sophisticated features for intricate sound shaping. This plugin excels in creating a vintage lo-fi aesthetic by incorporating digital noise artifacts that respond dynamically to audio input.

One of the leading features is the integrated envelope follower, which breathes life into static sounds by transforming them into dynamic audio expressions. The envelope follower can monitor various inputs, including audio input, sidechain input, dedicated automatable parameters, or MIDI CC messages, allowing users to fine-tune modulation depth for precise control over how it influences sound parameters.

FAC Fizzica supports a variety of modulation models to deliver diverse textures and timbres. Noise models enrich the audio with artifact noise, while sine and triangle models enhance harmonic and tonal richness, reminiscent of FM synthesis and RM modulation. Users can utilize internal or external audio signals (sidechain) as modulators for their carrier signals, facilitating an innovative blending of sound characteristics.

The sideband control feature allows users to manage the balance between the processed signal and isolated sidebands generated through audio-rate modulation. At maximum settings, only the sidebands are audible, showcasing the plugin’s versatility. Furthermore, a built-in low-pass filter refines the tonal quality of these digital textures.

The workflow is notably streamlined, featuring a user-friendly XY control pad for precision manipulation alongside a comprehensive visual representation of the envelope signal and all modulations. The integrated spectrum viewer offers visual feedback on audio output, aiding users in crafting their sound with clarity and precision.

FAC Fizzica also includes two extensions categorized as audio effects. The second extension further supports MIDI input, facilitating control over main frequency and filter cutoff through MIDI notes, alongside enabling MIDI CC messages for the envelope follower.
